How to do it

  1. Kneel on a soft surface and settle back until your seat meets your heels.

  2. Let your shoulders drop and your torso lean forward slightly.

  3. Rest one hand on your thigh and reach the other one between your legs.

  4. Move in small rocks and circles, keeping your breathing slow and steady.

Tips

  • Tuck a folded towel between your heels and hips if your ankles feel pinched.
  • Untuck your toes now and then to stretch out your feet.
  • Pad under your knees and shins if the floor is hard.
