How to do it
Stand with your feet a little wider than your hips and your toes turned slightly out.
Lower your hips toward your heels as far as feels comfortable.
Rest one hand on a knee to press it open and reach the other between your legs.
Sway or rock gently, and stand up as soon as your legs start to burn.
Tips
- Roll a towel under your heels if they lift off the ground.
- Grab a countertop or doorframe with your free hand for extra balance.
- Rise slowly at the end, because standing quickly can make you dizzy.
