Good for

  • Mutual pleasure
  • Out of bed
  • Height differences

How to do it

  1. Have one partner lie back along a sturdy bench, bed, or ottoman, with their legs hanging off the end.

  2. Standing partner: straddle the other's head, a foot on each side, facing their feet.

  3. Bend forward from the hips and rest your forearms on the bench or the other partner's thighs.

  4. Lower the hips gently until you meet, and take things slowly.

  5. Lying partner: use your hands on the other's hips to guide the weight.

Tips

  • Check that the bench is stable and will not slide, and pad it with a folded towel.
  • Standing partner: keep your knees soft and sit back if your lower back complains.
  • Agree on a tap signal for pausing, since neither of you can speak.
