Good for
- Height differences
- Quickies
- Small spaces
- Out of bed
How to do it
Set up something stable at about knee-to-thigh height, such as an ottoman, a low bench or the edge of a bed, and test that it holds.
The receiver sits on the edge with feet flat on the floor and knees bent, then leans forward slightly.
The giver stands behind with feet apart and steps in close, resting both hands on the receiver's waist or shoulders.
Adjust the height with a cushion or by bending the giver's knees, then move with slow, steady hip motion.
Tips
- A thin cushion on the seat saves the receiver's thighs from the edge.
- Do not use anything with wheels, or anything that might tip when someone leans back into it.
- If the angle is off, change the height of the seat instead of twisting yourselves into knots.
