How to do it
Have the receiver stand with feet apart, then bend the knees into a gentle half squat.
Giver: sit back on your heels in front of the receiver and plant your hands on the floor behind you.
Lean forward from the hips until you meet.
Receiver: rock gently from the knees, keeping the movement small and slow.
Giver: use your head and shoulders to control how far the receiver can come.
Tips
- The giver sets depth and pace, so agree on a clear tap-out signal.
- Receiver: keep your knees soft and take breaks when the thighs burn.
- Giver: sit on a cushion or folded towel to protect your ankles.
