How to do it

  1. Have the receiver lie on their back with legs together or slightly apart.

  2. Giver: kneel beside the receiver's hips, facing across their body.

  3. Lean over and rest one forearm on the bed for support.

  4. Use your free hand to hold and stroke while your mouth does the work.

  5. Switch sides partway through if your neck or shoulder needs a change.

Tips

  • Giver: this angle is gentle on the neck, so you can stay here for a long while.
  • Receiver: reach across and stroke the giver's back or hair.
  • Try both sides to find the more comfortable angle.
